1. A night with the Al-Zut
One of the strangest items in the record of the life and times of the founder of Islam - Muhammad - concerns the prophet's evening adventures with a group of Indian - Pakistan men. The carnal details are outlined in the following 2025 video by prominent American historian of relations between Islam and the West, Raymond Ibrahim. The video reveals Ibrahim's knowledge of Middle-Eastern languages, Islamic lore and archival sources.

As Ibrahim notes in the video, questions arise as to the authenticity of the account - which he presents as accurate - and also why Muhammad should engage in the activities as described. The latter is not answered, and leads to the question as to why present-day Islam is so homophobic, in light of Muhammad's own homosexual behaviour.

2. Accounts
Musnad Imām Ahmad 3788, declared Sahīh by Ahmad Shākir. Al-Tirmidhī 2861, declared Hasan Sahīh by Al-Albānī.
Ibn Mas'ūd narrated:
The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) performed 'Ishā, then he turned and asked for me. He took my hand and we set out until I came to the wide valley of Makkah. He drew a line for me and said to me: 'Stay within this line, and do not cross it, for indeed there shall come some men to you, but do not speak to them for they shall not speak to you, and if you cross (the line), you will perish. 'So I stayed within it. So the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) went on a little, as far as one could throw a stone or a little further.
While I was sitting within the line, some men/shapes of figures [i.e. jinn] came to me that appeared as if they were black people (i.e. dark people, like from North Africa or India), both their hair and bodies. They were not wearing any clothes but I could not see their private parts, and they were tall and they had little flesh (ie slim).
Then they returned towards Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) and began towering on top of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ). The Prophet of Allāh (ﷺ) began to recite the Qur'ān to them. And they started coming to me and surrounding me, and getting in my way. I was extremely scared of them, so I sat down – or words to that effect.
When dawn entered, they started to leave. Then the Messenger of Allāh came and entered into the line with me, looking heavy and in pain, or almost like he was in pain from their towering over him. He (ﷺ) said: 'I find myself tired' – or words to that effect. So the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) placed his head on my lap to sleep. And the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) would snore when he slept.
While I was sitting there, after a while, these men came, wearing long white garments, and Allāh knows best how handsome they were. The Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) had gone to sleep. They came towards me – I was more afraid than I was the first time – a group of them sat at the head of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) and a group at his feet. So some of them said to each other: This servant has been given good, his eyes are asleep, but his heart is awake.
Some of them said to one another: Come, let us give him a stop. Some of them said to one another: You coin for him a parable, and we will interpret it, or we will coin for him a parable and you will interpret it.
So some of them said to each other: His parable is that of a leader who built a fortified fort, then he placed a table-spread in it and he invited people to eat and drink. So whoever answers his invitation, he eats from his food and drinks from his drink. And whoever does not come and eat his food, or whoever does not answer his invitation, he will punish him with a severe punishment.
The others said: As for the leader, he is the Lord of the worlds, and as for the fort, it is Islām, and the food is Paradise, and he (the prophet) is the one who invites, so whoever follows him will be in Paradise. And whoever does not follow him will be punished.
Then the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) woke up and said: 'What did you see, O Ibn Umm 'Abd?' 'Abdullāh said: I saw such-and-such. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Nothing of what they said was hidden from me.' The Prophet of Allāh (ﷺ) said: 'They are a group of the angels.' Or he said: 'They are the angels.'

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had me follow him. He said: We set out until I came to such-and-such a place, and he drew a line for me. He said to me: "Stay within this; do not come out of it, for if you come out, you will perish." He said: So I stayed in it. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went on a short distance, or somewhat farther, or as he said. Then he mentioned some beings, as if they were the Zutt—Affan said, or as Affan said, if Allah wills—with no clothes on them, yet I did not see their private parts; they were tall and had little flesh. He said: They came and began climbing upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ began reciting to them. He said: They began coming to me, appearing as phantoms—or swaying—around me and crossing in front of me. Abdullah said: I was terrified of them with intense terror. He said: So I sat down, or as he said. He said: When the first column of dawn split forth, they began to depart, or as he said.
He said: Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came, heavy and in pain - or almost in pain - because of what they had done in climbing upon him. He said: "I find myself heavy," or as he said. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his head in my lap, or as he said. He said: Then some beings came, wearing white garments and tall, or as he said, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had dozed off. Abdullah said: I was more terrified of them than I had been the first time. Arim said in his narration: He said: Some of them said to others, "This servant has certainly been given good," or as they said. "His two eyes are asleep"—or he said, "his eye," or as they said—"while his heart is awake."
Then he said: Arim and Affan said: Some of them said to others, "Come, let us strike a parable for him," or as they said. Some of them said to others, "Strike a parable for him and we will interpret it, or we will strike it and you will interpret." Some of them said to others, "His likeness is that of a master who built a fortified structure, then sent food to the people," or as he said. "Whoever did not come to his food"—or he said, "did not follow him"—"he punished with a severe punishment," or as they said. The others said, "As for the master, he is the Lord of all worlds; as for the structure, it is Islam; the food is Paradise; and he is the caller. Whoever follows him will be in Paradise." Arim said in his narration: or as they said. "And whoever does not follow him will be punished," or as he said.
Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up and said: "What did you see, O Ibn Umm Abd?" Abdullah said: I saw such-and-such. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Nothing of what they said was hidden from me." The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: "They are a group of the angels," or he said: "They are from the angels," or as Allah willed."

3. Comments
On the Reddit posting there are a number of comments either supportive of the account or presenting it as something else.
Dull_Pomegranate3044: They 'mounted him, and when the sun started to rise, Mohamed came over to Abd Allah ibn Mas’ud, who was behind the line in the sand, sat down in fear, as after the men from al-Zutt had finished with Mohamed, he was in great pain. That is when he rested his head on Mas’ud’s lap and fell asleep after this night of greatness by the prophet of Allah (ﷺ). We should not shy away from anything the Prophet (ﷺ) did, but embrace it, as he was the greatest of all men. We should seek to emulate everything he did, no matter your personal feelings. Allah chose him for a purpose we cannot understand, and must submit to his will, and meet well endowed dark skinned men and allow ourselves to be mounted /ridden (ركب) by them. It’s our duty to submit to the will of Allah through emulating the actions of his messenger (ﷺ). We embrace it. We seek to be mounted (rode) (ركب in Arabic) by tall, well endowed, dark skinned men, preferably in the desert, with a trusted companion behind a line in the sand to witness then give us comfort after our tribulations. This is only one thing Mohamed (ﷺ)maid, and therefore you must be well educated in the Hadith’s to get to this, and have done many of the other things the Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) did first, before you are ready to take on this task. Only those shown to be worthy are ready for such glory in submitting to the will of Allah, emulating his Prophet (ﷺ). Start by reverting and revert to Islam by the simple formal statement of the shahādah, as we are all born Muslim, but are led away by our environments. Then, one day, you too may be worthy of such acts of bravery and submission to Allah.
Ok_Illustrator_7698: I see comments wondering whether this story in the Hadith is true. Well, if it isn't, then you've got to wonder about all of the other stories as well. And by extension, the stories in the Quran and the Sunnah. I mean, they still can't find historical proof that Muhammad existed at all. Probably why it is forbidden to have images of Muhammad. I also see a lot of comments that the Zutt mentioned in the Hadith were Jinn (spirits) and weren't human (as if that makes the 'riding all night' comment any better). However, this is false. If you do a quick search on the Zutt, you get this: "Al-Zutt" refers to a historical group of people, often associated with the Sindh and Makran regions of the Indian subcontinent, who were present in early Islamic societies. They are believed to be related to the Jatt people, and were known for their presence in regions like Syria, Khuzestan (in modern-day Iran), and Iraq. So, not too far from Arabia. And not spirits. Humans. The Hadith did say 'men' after all. Putting aside the Zutt, there are far worse stories about Muhammad. Muhammad wedded a 5-year old girl and bedded her when she was 9. Does this seem like a great example to follow? And let's not forget the various mentions in both the Quran and the Hadith that it is the duty of all Muslims to unalive all unbelievers, but especially Christans, Jews, and former Muslims. What a welcoming and peaceful religion, eh? And they want this to be the religion for all. Give me a break.

DocHoliday6969: Mohammad was having so much sex his sperm was drying up everywhere and he even made salah with dried semen stain. Why so many stories on semen though? So Aisha tells these Hadiths calmly to the Hadiths writer? I think it's weird for a wife to tell another man of how her husband had semen on his pants 3 different times.

2. Hadith of Aisha (رضي الله عنها) about scraping semen when dry. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I used to scrape the semen from the garment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when it was dry."
3. Hadith of Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) about the ruling on semen. Reference: Al-Bayhaqi (2/418)al-Mawsūʿa al-Fiqhiyya al-Kuwaytiyy...+2. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about semen that gets on the garment. He said: 'It is only like mucus or saliva. It is sufficient for you to wipe it off with a piece of cloth or a stick.'"
4. Hadith of Umm Sulaym (رضي الله عنها) about the semen of man and woman Reference: Sahih Muslim (315)Al-Dīn al-Khāliṣ aw Irshād al-Khalq.... English Translation: Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "O Messenger of Allah, Allah is not shy of the truth. Is there a bath (ghusl) required for a woman if she has a wet dream?" He said: "Yes, if she sees the fluid." In another narration: "The fluid of the man is thick and white, and the fluid of the woman is thin and yellow. Whichever of them comes first or dominates, the child will resemble that parent."

He said: 'He should wash his private part and perform ablution.' In another narration: 'If it is semen, then a full bath (ghusl) is required.'"
