Abstract: The Henry Nowak killing of 3 December 2025 and his abhorrent treatment by the UK police force on the scene has highlighted the gross racism being imposed upon white people as a result of anti-racist ideology. No longer is every person treated equality by the police force in the UK. Worse still, white people are being subject to the assumption of guilt if accused of racism, and arrested without evidence based purely on the testimony of the accuser which, in the case of the Henry Nowak killing. was a lie. The assumption inherent in all this is that white people are white supremacists and all enjoy white privilege. The present writer rejects both assumptions, especially the latter. Being raised in a multicultural Australia has reinforced the ideas of equity and inclusion that had been in operation for almost a century, and most especially and practically in the post WWII years and following the 1967 referendum granting Indigenous Australians voting rights.

1. There's no problem with whiteness
In the wake of the Henry Nowak murder in England on 3 December 2025, his horrific, inhumane treatment by the police at the scene, the trial for murder of his Sikh assailant Vickrum Digwa, and the release of body cam footage wherein the public is able to see Henry die whilst being abused by the killer and his family and ignored and ridiculed by the police, a lot of information has come to light regarding the mandatory training given to police officers across the country in regard to anti-racism. The outcome of that training is clear for the world to see in the way the police officers dealt with Henry's so-called white privilege when a charge of racism was levelled at him by his killer, after the latter had attacked and fatally stabbed him. This is an inexcusable case of the victim being victimized; of the anti-racism indoctrination training process unduly favouring non-white individuals; and of institutional racism arising out of so-called anti-racism initiatives. One of the issues emphasised in that training is the concept of white privilege. As the following guidance from one of the training courses presented by the Sussex Police in England reveals, this is what they were told about that subject and how they were required to address it. The session included a process of shaming and indoctrination in order to ensure the adoption of its content, overriding all other considerations. Henry Nowak's mistreatment was a direct result of this sort of indoctrination.

Text: What is this work? This work is a 28-day, truth-telling journey to guide people with white privilege to discover, examine, unpack and dismantle their inner white supremacy and their internalized racism. It is a workbook that is based on a 28-day journey that I ran for free with thousands of participants on my Instagram page between June and July 2018. It is a one-of-a-kind resource for people with white privilege to do the internal personal work of anti-racism, and facilitate personal and collective change to dismantle the oppressive system of white supremacy.
It is important to understand that this is deep, raw, challenging painful, gut-wrenching, heartbreaking and heart-expanding work. It is a spiritual shadow work. It is work that is designed to get you to look at something you don't want to look at - the way white supremacy manifests within you. Not as an intellectual concept, a thought experiment or a thing to do because you are a 'good white person'. But something deeply personal and intimate. As the creator of this work, I have two clear purposes for what I want this work to achieve.....
The present writer does not accept this premise, or the associated concept of white privilege. Of course white supremacy is real, and has been real for centuries, just as black, brown, yellow, blue, red, etc. etc. etc. supremacy has existed throughout the world over time. If one lives in an environment without white supremacy or any sort of socio-economic advantage present as a core element of that society - and the present writer largely did - then one can reject the claim that they are the subject of white privilege. Neither is this to deny the reality of racism; of course that exists as a natural fear of "the other". But, once again, that is not the same as white supremacy white privilege, and such actions / behaviours should not be conflated.
For example, is the Communist Party of China an example of "Han supremacy" with "Han privilege" evident when compare to other races in the Chinese empire, including Tibetans, Mongolians and Urgurs. It should be, but it is never referred to in that way. Why? Because this very concept of white supremacy and white privilege are in themselves racist and only apply to so-called white races, of which there are just as many variants as there are within non-white races, though the white races are a minority compared to the rest.
This ideology arises in part out of the post-colonial self-hatred promulgated by individuals and groups such as Marxists who are opposed to capitalism and therefore extend their hatred of that to general aspects of the West such as open and free democracy, the right to attain individual wealth, and to be free in your choice of religion and political association. This goes beyond the mere Left and Right classifications, and applies across the board.

The present writer has never been a white supremacist and therefore does not need to accept or identify with the concept of white privilege. The present writer has struggled all his life to be the best he can, in every way, and self-loathing as an individual or part of a collective / race / country had not entered into everyday experience or thought. The writer has never felt the presence of white privilege, and therefore has no qualms in rejecting the concept. Does it exist? Yes, in the minds of those who believe in it, or seek to promote it through vested interest, but that is all. For example, the following academic analysis of white privilege from 2023 reveals the linguistic gymnastics associated with this abhorrent, racist ideology:
The term “White privilege” has been used to denote specific privileges that White groups possess due to their Whiteness and White identity. In this article, firstly, I outline how, as a conceptual tool, White privilege can only be understood in relation to Critical Race Theory, specifically the notion that racism is central and endemic, through Whiteness as property and interest convergence. Secondly, I analyze the development of White privilege and provide ways forward for the use of the term, and thirdly, I use examples from higher education to outline how White privilege works in terms of the construction of knowledge, the prioritization of gender above race, and the fact that policy making is designed to protect White identities to uphold a hegemonic system of White supremacy (Bopal 2023)
In such an academic environment, the realities of the social impact of this form of racism is ignored, and will likely forever remain so. White supremacy is dead; white privilege is a thing of the past; critical race theory is Racism 101.

2. Equality
Every person on this planet is equal in their basic being. They have a body - an organic machine - and they have an individual consciousness. The colour of their skin, their circumstances, their thoughts and feelings are all unique with that person. As such, all should be seen as equal, and all should be treated as equal. The fact that they are not is not due to inherent differences, such as the colour of one's skin, but it is due to individual circumstances and the context within which they exist. If they are slaves, workers, of a certain political or religious persuasion, encounter other individuals with other views (sexism, racism, ageism, etc.) then of course their individual experiences will differ. But beyond that they have free will and are required to live their lives the best they can. There is no difference there across the planet. Therefore, to put certain people in a box and talk about then in a singular way, or treat them that way, is not acceptable. Just as it is not acceptible to do as the Sussex Police document described above does, and assume everyone doing that course of having so-called white privilege.
