The following is a chronological listing of posters and other  promotional material such as flyers and newspaper and magazine notices relating to the British blues rock band Free. They first performed in April 1968 and continued through to early 1973, touring Great Britain and internationally - America, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany and Japan. 1968

* 31 May & 18 December 1968 - The Candlelight, Scarborough Technical College, England.

1969

* 12 July 1969 - Madison Square Garden, New York. Bands: Delaney and Bonnie and Friends, The Free, and Blind Faith.

* 7-10 August 1969 - The Electric Circus, Toronto, Canada.

* 14 August 1969 - Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, California. Bands: Free, Delaney and Bonnie and Friends, and Blind Faith. Flyer.

* 15 August 1969 - Forum, Los Angeles.


* 16 August 1969 - The Blind Faith Festival, Earl Warren Showground, Santa Barbara, California. Bands: Somis Rhythm Band, Zephyr (with Tommy Bolin), Fields and Rabbit McKay, Free. Delany & Bonnie and Friends, and Blind Faith. Reproduced below are a poster and a small 8 1/2 x 11 inch flyer.


* 22 August 1969 - Salt Palace.

1970

* 19 March 1970 - Mayfair, Newgate Street, Newcastle, UK. Bands: Junko Partner, Raw Spirit, Juicy Lucy and Free. Flyer.

* 31 July 1970 - Klooks at the Lyceum, London, England. Bands: Groundhogs, The Strawbs and Free.

* 5 August 1970 - Marquay. Torquay Town Hall, England. 

* 6 August 1970 - Truro City Hall, Truro, England. Bands: Mother Child, Adolphus Rebirth, and Free.


* 28-30 August 1970 - Isle of Wight. Performed around lunch time on Sunday, deferred from the Saturday evening due to lateness of running by other acts.

Introduction The following is a listing of recorded live performances by the original Free - the classic English rock band - comprising Paul Rodgers (vocals), Paul Kossoff (guitar), Andy Fraser (bass) and Simon Kirke (drums). The band played its first gig on 19 April 1968 at the Nag's Head Pub, Battersea, England, and their last performance was at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, Australia, on Sunday, 9 May 1971. They later reformed in 1972 for a brief period.
